Great Things Happen When We Work Together
Alicia Cannon
SOYEON KWON
Soyeon is an Interior Designer at AJC Design, originally from Seoul, Korea. With a background in landscape and lighting design, she brings a fresh, culturally-inspired perspective to every project. As a natural collaborator, she manages all stages of design —from conception to installation—and is eager to take on bold, innovative designs that push the boundaries of hospitality.
Soyeon lives in Brooklyn with her husband and adorable kitty cat, Cirrus. She enjoys gardening and cooking for friends on the weekend, and channels her creativity through crafting her own custom furniture and upholstery. Soyeon enjoys travelling, especially to Korea, to experience the delicious local cuisine and spend time with family.
Bailey O’Neill
With a background in marketing, business administration, and communications, Bailey keeps the wheels turning at AJC Designs—managing day-to-day operations, organizing the office library, and jumping into anything that comes her way, including digital marketing. Bailey brings curiosity and enthusiasm to the team, and just like Alicia, she thrives on the fact that no two days at work are the same.
A big fan of short-form content and “day in my life” videos, she’s passionate about bringing that same fresh, behind-the-scenes energy to AJC’s digital presence. She’s currently brainstorming ideas to get Alicia in front of the camera more often.
As a New York native now living in the Murray Hill neighborhood, Bailey embraces city life with frequent visits to Central Park and enjoying leisurely weekend brunches as much as possible. Outside of work, Bailey keeps busy by participating in two book clubs, taking SoulCycle classes, and getting a little (okay, very) competitive with her friends on the CityPickle court.
She lives by a motto from her dad: *Carpe Diem* — seize the day — and try your best at everything you do!
Karis Khouri
With over a decade of experience in marketing, hospitality, and sales, Karis is the task master and glue that holds the AJC Design digital team together. During her four years at the company, Karis continues to grow the AJC Design brand through savvy, creative and organic social media and marketing strategies.
Previously, she held senior sales roles at JW Marriott, Orlando World Center Marriott, and Ritz-Carlton, gaining deep expertise in luxury hospitality and pre-opening strategy.
When she’s not working her marketing magic, Karis can be found enjoying arts and crafts with her daughter, Kenna, strolling through the farmers market with her family, whipping up delicious recipes, or bringing new life to her 1950s home in Florida.
Danielle Kayal
Although Danielle officially joined the team in 2019, she remembers the day the AJC was born. Utilizing her nearly 20 years of HR experience, Danielle is the go-to-person when it comes to finding the right talent or rolling out a new policy. She also plays a key role in our social media efforts, especially when it comes to crafting content for the blog and keeping the AJC website looking sharp.
Originally from Connecticut, Danielle has spent most of her time in Boston, but is always hopping down to NYC to catch a Broadway show, visit friends or indulge in a delicious dinner out. When she’s not working, you can find her on the yoga mat or tennis court, and tackling a giant puzzle during the winter months.
Danielle is always open to spontaneous road trips or international travel to explore new cultures. Sharing a sun sign with Alicia (Cancer), Danielle lives by the mantra “Creativity is Everything!” — a perfect reflection of her energy and approach to life.
